Co-editing (Apple/IOS)

You can give other Vaults members access to edit a vault you own, so you can team up on creating a powerful content library.

Now, in Vaults, you can give your friends and colleagues permission to edit a Vault you own, wherever they are. Work together remotely to create a powerful content library!

Editors of your Vault can:
Edit and create content.
Move, delete, and reorder existing content.
Add other members.
Send announcements to Vault members.


How to add a co-editor to your Vault:

Inviting new members via email address:


1. Open the Vaults app, enter the Vault you would like to share, and tap the "+ Add members" button found above your content.
2. Type in the email address of the user you would like to share your vault with.
3. Select the level of access you would like that user to have.
4. Click "Invite by Email"
5. Your invite will be sent to that user's email address

Viewing members of your Vaults:

*This option is currently only available on the desktop version. 

1. Log into your Vaults desktop account (web version). 

2. Select the Vault tab at the top of the page.

3. Select Invitations from the drop-down.

4. Here you can see the list of users you have invited to access your Vaults.

Can View Only: Members with this permission can access all the content on your Vault and its future updates, but they cannot modify the content. Only co-editors have this permission.

Can View and Share: Members with this permission can access all the content on your Vault and its future updates, but they cannot modify the content. Only co-editors have this permission. Additionally, they can add other members to the Vault via email.

Can Edit: This gives users complete access to your Vault.

FAQ
1. Can I create a vault together with other teammates?

Yes, you'll be able to collaborate and create vaults with others. The vault owner has to give permission to specific members to allow them to co-edit.

2. Can I remove a member from my list?

Yes, the owner can remove members at any point. Learn more here.

3. Can I prevent team members from sharing my vault?

Yes. You can change members' permissions to 'View Only' and they can no longer share your vault, but will still have access to view it themselves.

4. Will my team members be able to edit a shared vault's content?

Yes, they'll be able to make changes to the vault as long as the vault owner has given the specific members permissions to co-edit the vault.
