Share folders (Apple/IOS)
In addition to sharing a whole vault, users can share a specific folder via a web link.
When you share a folder as a link, the recipient you share it with has 2 options.
1. If the Vault invitation link to add members is activated, they can tap "Join Vault" and have access to all the content within that Vault. This way, they will receive all the updates in real-time because they became members of your Vault.

2. Alternatively, they can choose to "Save" only specific pieces of content or subfolders to their own Vault, focusing on what they find most relevant. In this case, if you update the original Vault, they won't see those changes because they've saved the content on their own Vault, and they aren't members of your original Vault.

Important: To share only a folder without giving the recipient the option to join your Vault, you must deactivate the invite link. To do this, tap the 3 dot menu to the right of the vault title, click Vault Configuration from the list of option. Make sure the inactive date is set to a date and time in the past.
